Passionate about bridge engineering, Long draws upon his background in structural engineering to advance the field through innovation, excellence, and sustainable solutions. From conceptual design through to final construction, he is involved in every step of the bridge design and construction process. He works effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and durability.
Long has a proven track record of successfully delivering complex bridge projects. These include the Drakeford Drive cable stayed pedestrian bridge in Kambah ACT, the road bridge over rail for significant predicted mine subsidence in Picton NSW, and the Western Distributor Smart Motorway project in Sydney.
Outside of work, you’ll find Long working on his golf handicap, playing badminton, or catching up with friends.
