With the adoption of renewable electricity sources, smart-grid technology, and new, advanced materials, John agrees—now is the most exciting time to be an electrical engineer. He is experienced in electrical and mechanical design and construction, with expertise in generator and solar (PV) design. He has worked on generator installations ranging from 60kW to 500kW and PV designs ranging from 5MW to 615MW. John has also worked as a field engineer on a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, and nuclear projects.
His top priorities are providing the most efficient, accurate, on-budget, and most importantly, safest designs to his clients. His extensive background working on both the client and consulting sides, provides him a unique perspective to guide project designs. He is passionate about renewable energy and takes pride in any of his projects that further our goal of a greener future.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and can usually be found down at the rink playing hockey in the winter, or on the golf course in the summer. He also enjoys relaxing days at the beach and traveling with his family to new places.
