Guillaume Beauce believes a project is only as good as the materials used to build it. He is a field supervisor and materials engineer with Stantec’s Geotechnical Engineering Group in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His experience includes the management of quality control testing projects, geotechnical investigations, the training and supervision of materials testing technologists, as well as business development, and contract administration. Prior to joining Stantec in 2012, he served as an Engineer Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Guillaume is currently responsible for our materials field testing operations and is also acting as the supervising professional for our main and mobile laboratories. He works closely with suppliers, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality work and assist in resolving issues related to concrete, aggregates, soils, and bituminous mixes. His background, in both the military and private sector, have led to his philosophy that when employees feel their well being is looked after, they are motivated to provide high quality work.
After work, Guillaume enjoys spending time with his family, working outdoors, and playing hockey.
