Dawson Beaulieu

Archaeologist

Photo of Dawson

Growing up in the Yukon, Dawson loved spending time on the land with family, friends, mentors, and elders. Naturally, feeling a deep connection to this place and the people who have lived here past and present, he was drawn to a career that is rooted deeply in both worlds.

Today, Dawson focuses primarily on the technical aspect of heritage resource management and archaeology, helping to provide clients with development-based heritage and archaeological assessments from desktop to field research. He has experience coordinating field projects and is an Archaeological Sites Regulation Permit holder in Yukon.

While Dawson’s projects require a broad range of tasks and skillsets, his goal remains simple—to help clients and the greater community protect and preserve heritage resources by carrying out thorough, professional, and ethical archaeological work.

When he isn’t working on archaeological projects, Dawson enjoys spending time with his wife and twin boys. He has a passion for recording, engineering, and playing music, as well as building amplifiers and effect units.
