Chris has over 15 years of experience working in both the academic research and consultancy sectors. As a chartered resource and waste manager and chartered environmentalist, Chris supports a wide range of clients with a focus on the UK minerals and waste sectors.
He’s responsible for waste sector business development and leads a wide range of projects including the “designing out” of waste for major infrastructure projects as well as delivering permit applications for a wide range of waste treatment, landfill, and deposit for recovery schemes.
Chris is an active participant with industry forums and working groups including the Mineral Products Association (MPA) waste group and Environment Agency/DEFRA inert waste group. He has authored several prominent articles in the regulatory/legal sections of industry journals and is also an active public speaker at various industry and professional organisation events. His goal? To ensure pervasive industry knowledge of regulatory requirements and opportunities—particularly in relation to the sustainable re-use of waste materials.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys a range of outdoor pursuits including hill walking, travel, cycling, and aviation.
