Lisa Bohach

Lisa’s work revolves around exploring the ecologies of the past. She is the palaeontological resource manager and senior palaeontologist at Stantec. She completes palaeontological overviews, palaeontological impact assessments, environmental impact assessments (EIAs/ESAs/EISs), mitigation, and monitoring. Part of her role is to liaise between clients and regulators to work out the best solutions to protect palaeontological resources during industrial development.

As a palaeontological consultant to industry, Lisa hascompleted more than 250 palaeontological assessments and continues to explore this vast field imbued with a long and interesting history and a fascinating and hopeful future. Lisa has a broad range of experience comprising large scale pipeline projects, oil sands projects, mines, upgraders, roadways, transmission lines, and wind power projects.
