As a civil engineer with our Community Development team, Renee focuses on site development, floodplain protection, and shoreline protection throughout Door County in Wisconsin. She helps clients navigate design and permitting requirements by providing engineering design and permitting for commercial and residential developments. Her work on design elements includes road design, site layout and grading plans, stormwater management, sanitary sewer and water design, floodplain, and shoreline protection plans.
A project highlight for Renee was designing the Evergreen Miniature Golf in Fish Creek, Door County. The client wanted to preserve as many mature trees as possible to provide a mini-golf experience that could also include an environmental education component. She and her team prepared the site layout and grading plan for the driveway, club house, and parking lot, and coordinated layout and grading with the miniature golf course specialists.
Outside of work, Renee’s passions include spending time with her husband and two daughters, involvement in her church, and working in her garden—to grow fresh vegetables that she loves cooking with and canning.
