As a certified wildlife biologist and project manager for multiple clients, Sarah provides permitting and compliance support for proposed renewable energy projects with a particular focus on minimizing impacts to sensitive species and habitats.

Currently, Sarah is helping several wind energy projects navigate New York’s rigorous Article 10 review process. Her background is rooted in scientific theory and research on relationships between humans and the natural world. Sarah’s practical skills include program, project, and team management; technical writing, and overall project communication.

Sarah understands the important role science plays in informing decisions—finding the balance between conserving and harnessing resources is crucial. Sarah has studied plovers on a U.S. Marine base, bird and bat fatalities under wind turbines, sandpipers in blueberry barrens, and fish at a former U.S. Air Force base.
