Louise is a trained manager who has been active for more than 30 years in the public transportation field, serving the Montreal Metropolitan Community (CMM) suburbs, mainly on the South Shore but also elsewhere in Quebec.
Applying her effective and results-oriented management skills, Louise has spent more than 10 years at the helm of Gestrans, a Stantec division specialized in public transit, and the only group in Quebec entirely dedicated to this field. Together with her team, she is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of several transit operating authorities and paratransit service organizations. Her team has also worked closely with various government bodies, municipalities, regional county municipalities, and regional conferences of elected officials (CRÉ) on the development of various public transit studies, transportation plans, and development plans.
Her team has been involved in the implementation of the Passenger Information and Operational Support System (SAEIV) on the southern rim of Montreal. This system will expand opportunities for managing and disseminating information in real time with respect to the status of public transit networks.
For the past several years, Louise has sat on the Board of Directors of the Garde-manger pour Tous organization, whose mission is to provide nearly 3,500 hot meals daily to elementary school students in Montreal.
