A senior associate and geotechnical engineer with over 16 years of industry experience, Jan has extensive knowledge of managing pipeline integrity with respect to geohazards. As technical leader for pipeline geohazard projects across Western Canada, he provides direction, technical support, and mentoring.
Jan grew his career working with pipelines after completing his degree in civil engineering, with a focus on geotechnical and river engineering. Passionate about the energy industry, he continuously looks for ways to meet energy needs while keeping our communities safe.
In addition to leading multidisciplinary teams to complete simultaneous multimillion-dollar geohazard mitigation projects, Jan is also published and recognized by industry peers for his knowledge and experience.
When he isn’t managing the integrity of pipelines, Jan enjoys partaking in winter and summer sports, especially downhill and water skiing.
