Nathan is a member of our Saskatchewan Water team and the key contact for our national network of waste management professionals. He’s always been interested in waste reduction thanks to abundant proverbs on the subject and a drive to optimize consumable material. From his several mentors, the most common piece of advice that Nathan recites for clients is “we can’t control what we don’t measure.”
With experience as a surveyor, resident, and design engineer for community development projects in Regina, Nathan recently made the move toward solid waste management in order to put his master’s degree to use. He’s provided the research basis for recycling and composting business cases, written closure and reclamation plans, and reviewed material storage models for a waste diversion transfer station.
A home-composting enthusiast, Nathan uses a range of techniques to find value in common waste. Ask about our office program the next time you’re in the Regina or Saskatoon offices! But, when it comes to leisure time, you might find Nathan reading, writing, strength training, cycling, or gardening.
