He brings a hands-on approach to concept design, design development, and project delivery, with a focus on design quality, collaboration, and client value.
Known as a disciplined and collaborative leader, Darren builds strong multidisciplinary teams and trusted client relationships through clarity, accountability, and shared vision. He advances design excellence and innovation across the practice, supporting consistent, high-performing approaches to project delivery. Darren has provided principal architectural and project leadership on projects ranging from campus-scale planning to large mixed-use urban developments. His work includes award-winning projects such as the University of the Fraser Valley New Campus Plan, recognized by World Architectural News as Best in Class, University Building.
Outside of work, Darren is a competitive sailor and serves as World Council president for the international Farr 30 class.
