Brian is an air quality scientist who primarily works on consequence modeling and quantitative risk assessments related to public safety. He completes computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling related to air quality (building ventilation and exhaust stack design studies) and works on climate change risk assessments. Brian is also an acoustic scientist and environmental lighting expert.
Lately, he’s been helping clients stick-handle recent changes to environmental emergency (E2) planning requirements and also helping clients understand potential risks to their infrastructure due to climate change. Brian contributes complex computer modeling for projects across Canada, the US, and Europe that provides other Stantec teams with the information and support they need.
When he isn’t at work, Brian might be relaxing and playing his guitar or enjoying the outdoors by foot or by bike, either in the country or near to his home in the city.
