Photo of Sherry

As an advocate for change—both professionally and personally—Sherry is committed to building a more compassionate and resilient world. Her diverse background, from foster parenting to leading the $2 million Lahaina Watershed Flood Protection Project following the devastating 2023 fires, reflects her deep dedication to compassion and forward-thinking leadership.

With ancestral roots in Hawaiʻi dating back to 180 BCE., Sherry brings a profound connection to place and a generational commitment to preserving Hawaiʻi’s heritage. She draws on long-standing relationships across the islands to secure resources and deliver successful water-related initiatives. As a business center practice leader for our Water team, she leads multidisciplinary colleagues through the planning, permitting, and design of water and infrastructure projects.

Beyond her professional role, Sherry is a strong advocate for women’s rights. While living on Oʻahu, she served as a director for the YWCA of Oʻahu and was appointed by former Governor Ige to the Hawaiʻi State Commission on the Status of Women, where she championed gender equity statewide. As a current resident of Maui, she continues to support young women pursuing careers in STEM, construction, and agriculture.
