As a leader in our Energy group, Neil brings his eclectic consultancy experience to a range of high hazard sectors—with a primary focus on nuclear energy and radioactive waste management. He also has wider experience supporting oil and gas decommissioning and hydrogen related projects, drawing upon his engineering background

Neil’s passionate about promoting nuclear energy alongside other clean energy technologies within a whole systems approach. As an active member of the Nuclear Institute Young Generation Network (NI YGN), he represented this group as a volunteer at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow. He was subsequently interviewed by BBC Scotland as an advocate for nuclear energy’s role in meeting net zero targets.

Away from his energy sector work, Neil enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle and he is a keen runner. He also has a passion for cooking and fancies himself as a bit of a chef.
