Adam is an urban planner and associate with our community development practice. You’ll find him managing land development or redevelopment projects in Florida from early due diligence in land acquisition and assembly through conceptual and detailed design phases.
Due to his local expertise in urban redevelopment, Adam typically focuses on large mixed-use projects that involve the reconfiguration of streets and other basic infrastructure. He is also admitted to the Florida Bar and practiced law for 13 years. Though he does not practice law at Stantec, Adam draws regularly on the experiences and skills to help clients and team members avoid future issues as well as draft redevelopment agreements and other comprehensive documents that may require detailed and precise language.
Adam is also a member of our Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) Council. In his words, if our society isn’t aggressively pushing forward with commitment to advance inclusion and diversity, it seems we are rapidly slipping backward. This is why Adam believes that I&D requires an unrelenting focus and effort.
Enjoying cycling activities such as competitive road, mountain, and gravel biking, and adventure bikepacking, Adam also spends time mentoring and tutoring young black boys. On weekends, you can usually find him with his 10 and 7-year-old grandchildren after participating in a cycling event with friends.
