Senior Associate, Business Center Practice Leader

Photo of Kim

Kim has 15 years of experience working on a wide variety of projects including natural gas pipelines, electrical transmission and distribution, water pipelines, residential development, transportation, and mining projects. Her specialty is in natural resource management and regulatory compliance. As a project manager, Kim helps clients obtain permits and approvals pertaining to the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and National Historic Preservation Act.

On one project—a new 12-mile natural gas pipeline—she served as project manager and was given one year to complete all project design as well as environmental surveys. The design would require the approval of eight federal, state, and local agencies to maintain the project schedule mandated by the client. Kim and her project team worked together to ensure the project was completed on time and within budget.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys hiking, kayaking, and working on DIY projects around her house. Her bucket list includes hiking every trail in the Great Smoky National Park which includes 83 trails totaling approximately 850 miles. Kim has completed over 20 trails totaling 230 miles and looks forward to more hiking!
