From childhood, Aldo was always connected to the countryside—he would often visit his grandparents who were farmers and ranchers in the highlands of La Libertad and the Mantaro River Valley in Junín. This eventually led him to pursue a career as an agricultural engineer specializing in water resources.
As a senior water resources specialist, Aldo oversees water resource projects, evaluating meteorological, hydrological, hydraulic, and water management aspects. He supports comprehensive, sustainable, and efficient management of current and future water resources, optimizing their use and complying with environmental and technical standards.
Aldo draws on over 20 years of experience in areas such as geomatics, climatology, hydrometeorology, hydraulics, hydrology, water balance, and hydrogeology. He is also well-versed in the analysis of the impacts of climate variability and climate change, particularly in the mining industry.
Away from the world of water resources, Aldo enjoys spending time with his family and hopes to one day develop a family business. He is also passionate about soccer.
