Daniel’s career began in Barcelona. He worked for a small consultancy with a strong emphasis on research and development in acoustics. His designs were implemented on a wide range of projects, from underground train stations to wind farms—including European research projects. His 17 years of experience has had him working in Spain, China, New Zealand, and Australia.
These days, his work includes managing a team dealing with building acoustics as well as doing research on virtual reality and acoustics.
In his spare time, Daniel focuses on creating sounds and noises rather than attenuating them. He does so as a bass player in the Stantec Melbourne office band. Also, Daniel is the president of the Catalan Centre of Victoria, a cultural organization that aims to promote diffusion of the Catalan language and culture.
