Steven is an architectural designer focused on designing experiences in confluence with technology. From high-rise buildings to cultural epicenters, he creates places that are centered around making experiences that leave an impact.
Known for his ability to design places that inspire people to engage and connect with the cultural framework of their surroundings, Steven has worked on international projects in Europe, China, and South Korea, and has instructed parametric design as a visiting lecturer at Seoul National University. He’s very interested in how historic and cultural buildings can be re-used to revitalize niches in urban landscapes—an approach that relies on contextual precedents and community to guide design solutions.
Outside of work, Steven is an avid snowboarder—a passion he’s been chasing for over 20 years. Having been born in Colorado, he’s no stranger to good snow, and has snowboarded in China, South Korea, and Japan.
