Jean-Michel Champagne
Project Manager, Climate Solutions
For over 15 years, Jean-Michel has supported private and public organizations in understanding climate-related challenges and turning them into concrete, sustainable solutions. With a master’s degree in environmental science and an MBA, he leads complex projects involving risk analysis and climate change adaptation, including for critical infrastructure like healthcare facilities.
Jean-Michel brings an integrated approach that combines environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy, energy transition, and real estate management. Acting as a connector between teams, clients, and partners, he prioritizes collaboration and innovation to deliver projects aligned with client priorities. He also serves as a resource across all Stantec business sectors on matters related to climate change and ESG performance.
Jean-Michel is also a speaker, columnist, and lecturer at HEC Montréal. In his free time, he shares with his partner a passion for the art of kimono and helps protect a vast forested area. His top priority remains his family, with whom he enjoys meaningful time outdoors.
