As a wastewater leader, Carl approaches all projects with the same philosophy—step back to understand the big picture, define what actions fit the purpose, then deliver with passion. He’s done that on projects like the City of Toronto High Level Interceptor Rehabilitation Project.
Carl also works with our Innovation and Digital Solutions teams. He created Flow Capacity Evaluator, a digital tool that estimates the flow capacity of water and wastewater systems in seconds. This allows municipalities to make residential and commercial development decisions faster and more efficiently.
When he isn’t busy working on digital solutions, Carl coaches youth STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) teams. You can also find him officiating swimming competitions and competing in a variety of tabletop games—one day he’ll be the world champion of Hungry Hungry Hippos!
