Ian’s approach to design is hands-on, personable, and collaborative. He prefers to see the whole picture of each project and works to design energy-efficient mechanical systems that are aligned with overall intent.
As a result, Ian has managed multi-disciplinary technical teams to deliver industrial buildings projects and improvements varying from CAD$1 million to $50 million in construction value. He has broad experience with conventional and alternative delivery methods at many phases of project implementation including master planning, conceptual design, preliminary engineering, detailed design, value engineering, procurement, construction, and warranty and maintenance. Ian was recently the project manager for four distributions warehouses totalling over five million square feet. Delivering engineering services across North America, he looks to bring passion and ingenuity to his projects and to the community.
Translating his collaborative spirit to his life outside work, Ian enjoys playing competitive ultimate frisbee and hockey.
