A seasoned design architect with over 35 years of experience, Art has developed a global portfolio that blends creativity, functionality, and sustainability. In his work, he strives to address community needs and advance environmental stewardship.
As a senior vice president with our Buildings group, Art champions leadership through dialogue, fostering accountability and collaboration. Dedicated to inclusive and resilient design, he helps create transformative, meaningful spaces.
Outside of work, Art practices very active volunteerism with various organizations. He is currently the chair of the University of Houston Board of Visitors and a member of the National Academy of Construction, University of Houston Foundation Board of Trustees, Alley Theatre of Houston Board of Directors, Producers Without Borders Advisory Board, Voorhees University Board of Trustees, ALMAAHH - Advocates for the Latino Museum Board of Directors, and Asia Society Texas Board of Directors.
