Wendy leads a team of two members covering the full range of human resources (HR) functions for our Taiwan and China regions. She is known for her experience in cultural diversity, inclusion, employee engagement, coaching, and talent acquisition.
Over the past 18 years, working with people from different countries has meant Wendy is comfortable with diverse cultures in the workplace. She grew up in Hong Kong, worked for several global firms in Taiwan, and now reports to her manager in Australia, giving Wendy a different perspective. She most enjoys strengthening employee relationships with the Company and coaching junior members of our teams.
Also serving on our Inclusion and Diversity Council, Wendy represents Taiwan and China where we are supportive and inclusive of diversity even in smaller teams. Wendy’s small HR team has a representative group, appointing the first female manager in recent years and previously hiring someone who identified as transgender.
Outside of work, Wendy loves travelling and cooking. She is currently studying her master’s in human resource management, which she is really enjoying as she gets to meet and learn ideas from other HR professionals.
