Cailum helps organizations understand how their buildings perform and what it takes to achieve meaningful reductions in energy use and carbon emissions. He focuses on operational energy, decarbonization strategies, energy modeling, and embodied carbon. His project experience includes creating net zero strategies for facilities, conducting operational energy modeling and whole life carbon assessments, as well as transition planning aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative—a global corporate climate organization.
Over the course of his career, Cailum has been involved with the delivery of hundreds of National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) ratings on projects across Australia. He has also been involved in commissioning and integration of critical systems and services for energy projects across Asia. Now based in London, he’s leading our NABERS UK team, helping clients apply performance-driven approaches to improve outcomes for commercial real estate, healthcare, science and technology, and data center projects.
When he isn’t helping clients optimize energy use and decarbonization, Cailum enjoys cooking, cycling, and learning new languages.
