Greg brings his passion for bus rapid transit (BRT) to Stantec, overseeing BRT projects across North America. He takes pride in knowing that transit, particularly BRT, has such a positive impact within our communities.
Transit has been a part of Greg’s life since his youth, as his father was the general manager of a rural public transit service. He knows a properly functioning transit system is the backbone of its community—providing transport to citizens and helping support economic and population growth. Greg started his career in transit as part of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) Olympic Transportation group, which created a temporary BRT system to transport visitors from park-and-ride lots to the city center and the competition venues. In his most recent role as a program manager for the Federal Transit administration, Greg got a top-down view of several cost-effective and easily implementable BRT projects which achieved similar results to rail projects.
In his personal time, Greg enjoys running, traveling with family, serving on his community’s Planning Commission, and watching his children participate in sports.
