Jill has a strong science-based foundation, informed by formal training in geology, hydrology, and soil sciences and a sustained curiosity that drives her to keep learning. Valuing clear communication, she takes care to translate complex technical and legal concepts into a shared understanding so that diverse teams can make sound, coordinated decisions.
As a deputy program manager, Jill serves in project management and leadership roles on water supply, hydropower, and environmental restoration efforts. These include the San Joaquin River Restoration Program, Willamette Water Supply Program, and Cascade Supply Program. She is also well-versed in permitting and regulatory compliance including international, federal, state, and local regulations.
When she isn’t working on water, hydropower, or environmental restoration efforts, Jill enjoys spending time with family, volunteering for Tualatin Riverkeepers (board member) and Cat Adoption Team (shelter cat feeder), sewing, and doing outdoor activities like running, hiking, camping, and paddling.
