As a full stack software developer, Chase has a strong background in GIS (geographic information system) and environmental science and is motivated by the desire to create software solutions that increase efficiency and improve our world. He’s comfortable working with various technologies across databases, user interfaces, and the cloud to create and implement new features.
Chase has worked on several web application and GIS projects as well. One of his favorite projects was to develop an algorithm to generate a new GIS dataset of all the parking regulations for the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts. He also enjoys developing custom geoprocessing algorithms to increase internal efficiency and answer complex spatial questions.
Outside of the office, Chase enjoys adventure racing, backpacking, and walks in the park with his family.
