Paul Clyne
Senior Engineer
A chartered civil engineer, Paul has over 20 years of experience delivering complex structural and infrastructure projects in Ireland, Canada, and remote Arctic environments. He has held senior roles with consulting firms and government entities, leading multidisciplinary teams across the full project life cycle. His career spans energy, healthcare, buildings, mining, transportation, and municipal infrastructure, with a particular strength in technically demanding and high risk environments.
A defining feature of Paul’s experience is his extensive work in remote, northern, and Arctic regions. He has expertise in cold region engineering, resilience, and constructability. He is adept at addressing challenges such as short construction seasons, extreme climate loading, permafrost, marine and ice conditions, and complex logistics, translating these constraints into practical, buildable engineering solutions.
Committed to community involvement, Paul volunteers as a scout leader with the 25th Mayo (Louisburgh) Scout Group. He enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with his family, centered around their small farmstead and is also an active member of his local sailing club and a keen sea swimmer.
