Throughout his career in building mechanical engineering, Edgar has developed strong capabilities in building information modeling (BIM), information management, and digital transformation, which he applies to drive innovative solutions. He plays a key role in aligning best practices, continuous improvement processes, and technology tools to enhance project quality, facilitate the flow of information, and strengthen collaboration across teams.
As a BIM specialist, Edgar has coordinated BIM activities for several major projects in Quebec, including the expansion of Lachine Hospital, the new military facility supporting air operations in Bagotville, and the new Library and Archives Canada facility in Gatineau. A respected facilitator, he is also deeply committed to supporting the growth of colleagues and helping develop the next generation of professionals. Curious and passionate about technology, he closely follows emerging trends and innovations.
Outside of work, Edgar enjoys recharging in nature, camping and hiking in forests. He also keeps fit with cycling and fitness training.
