A chartered engineer and environmentalist, Tim is also a fellow of Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM). He has over 20 years of experience working on a range of water treatment and supply projects. This includes water treatment process design, water strategy, and developing approaches to assessing and managing risk across the whole water supply system.
Over his career, Tim has been involved with a wide range of water treatment technologies through optioneering and feasibility studies, detailed design, and process optimization. Recently, he’s worked on the process design of a manganese removal plant and new ceramic membrane plant.
Tim has a passion for developing the skills of the engineers in his team and knowledge sharing across the water industry. He also mentors graduate engineers through their professional development and chartership applications.
Outside of work, Tim volunteers with the Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team, a 45-member, all-volunteer group assisting in distress calls from mountain bikers, hikers, and missing persons.
