Beth Darnell

Industrial Hygienist

Photo of Beth

As a Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) specialist, Beth’s professional industrial hygiene work has included hazardous waste operations, laboratory environments, and manufacturing facilities. Limiting adverse health outcomes is what her career’s all about. Most recently, she’s conducted noise and hazardous materials exposure assessments in a variety of industrial settings for baggage handlers, battery assemblers, electrical energy producers, and cow hide tanners, to name a few.

Beth collaborates with personnel and uses the principals of identifying, evaluating, and recommending real-world implementable solutions. She significantly contributed to the conversion of a Canadian company’s health and safety manual to be compliant with United States law. That project was followed by training and auditing to support the new manual.

Beth enjoys philanthropy work such as creating a tennis clinic with area teens for a local Special Olympics program—the teens gain leadership experience and friendships with people in the special needs community.
