Matt is a senior associate and traffic engineer known for delivering innovative client solutions while collaborating effectively with his team. His specialties include systems engineering analysis, traffic analysis, traffic modeling for analysis and public viewing, advanced transportation management system (ATMS) integration, and traffic signal and intelligent traffic systems (ITS) design.
As an experienced ITS leader, Matt manages and supports traffic, ITS, and smart mobility projects for agencies and private clients throughout the United States. Driven by excellence and cost-effective solutions, Matt has a comprehensive understanding of how to maximize the functionality of existing infrastructure deployments with agile and economical implementation strategies. He has managed Stantec’s ITS on-call contract with the Tennessee Department of Transportation since 2017 and recently completed the upgrade and integration of their statewide traffic management center software.
Outside of work, Matt is a big fan of the LSU Tigers and loves to wrench on cars and travel with his wife.
