Kelvin has seen projects, clients, and products continue to change over the last 32 years. He enjoys learning new things, but one thing has not wavered—his dedication to building strong working relationships.
Utilizing product innovation has been part of Kelvin’s ability to meet client needs—with a constantly changing industry, he wants to ensure that his clients have the best possible tools available. Helping clients with asset management and getting the best value for their limited budgets is a challenge Kelvin takes to heart. He has performed bridge inspections through to bridge asset management through his career.
Kelvin’s more recent projects include owners engineer for the city of Saskatoon’s Victoria Avenue traffic bridge Replacement—as an iconic bridge, community buy-in was paramount. Working with the client, Kelvin and the team utilized the design build maintain process and salvaged the existing infrastructure to maintain the history. These kinds of projects are what make Kelvin love his job.
