A risk manager, Beth has experience in the defense and energy sectors and brings a wider project controls background that provides insight into other areas, like planning and scheduling. She is also confident using the frameworks of ISO 31000 and the Association of Project Management (APM) for proactive project and program risk management.
Beth prioritizes getting people engaged with the risk management process to increase risk maturity no matter where your project/program’s starting point is. She focuses on the psychology of engagement with risk management which enables project teams to move from risk as a ‘tick box exercise’ to delivering real results and enthusiasm for the discipline. Beth can assist with risk identification with bespoke workshops, risk analysis and evaluation using specialized software, risk reporting, and finding opportunities to enhance benefits.
Outside of the office, Beth can be found taking part in tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons, painting mini-figures and working on art projects, or walking around one of the many wonderful parks in Cardiff.
