Richard is an experienced building services principal passionate about energy savings, sustainability, and simple engineering solutions. His passion for the built environment and architecture started early in life, and he went on to study design of the environment and building engineering in Montreal.
As a mechanical engineer in New York City since 2000, Richard has focused on airports and commercial interiors, healthcare, museums, and transportation facility projects. He has worked on some pioneer projects in the city such as the MoMa Art Center (PS1), St.George Ferry Terminal, Lincoln Center redevelopment, Empire State Building Visitor Experience, LaGuardia Central Terminal Building B, and Louis Armstrong International Airport. He enjoys connecting the dots between industries, projects, and communities.
Outside of work, Richard spends time riding his motorcycle, participating in outdoor and group sports, cooking, gardening, and teaching his children to play ice hockey.
