Working in Southeast Queensland, Australia’s fastest-growing urban region, where large-scale projects of immense complexity abound, is where Samuel thrives. The key for Samuel is seeking practical solutions. He ascribes his ability to find practicality within complexity to the broad scope of his experience.
Collaborating on large scale urban and transport projects, from preliminary to detailed design, and to construction delivery, Samuel has encountered virtually every kind of issue that can arise. But more than simply practical, he is passionate about creating communities that implement sustainable engineering solutions to improve upon, and enhance, quality of life. Whatever the situation, whether technical or relating to client and stakeholder relations, he sees an opportunity to use these experiences in mentoring emerging engineers on his team.
His eight years' experience in civil engineering has led him down many roads, both geographically and professionally. When not pursuing the best solutions for clients, Samuel enjoys keeping active by running and playing soccer. Whilst being based in Southeast Queensland, Samuel often dreams of colder climates being a keen snowboarder who wishes to hit the slopes at every opportunity.
