Alana’s strength is in helping her client’s decision-making process. She does this through expertise in modelling, optimization, and decision support tools that her clients can easily understand, and which help with their water network planning.
With over 20 years in the industry, Alana appreciates the importance of staying up-to-date with evolving technology and applying new approaches to her work. Recently, she led the delivery of a series of decision support tools for the SA Water Operations group which included, a live hydraulic model, a water demand forecast tool, a bulk water optimisation tool, and an analytics and dashboarding report tool—all of which garnered success and award recognition. Alana continues to work with this client as this program expands.
Within Stantec, Alana is a thought-leader to her peers and mentor to junior engineers. She enjoys projects that are challenging, working with a range of diverse people, and working with a team to collaborate and produce excellent projects for our clients. On top of her busy career, Alana also has a toddler who makes every day a new adventure.
