Working in Texas, where football is king, it’s perhaps appropriate that T.J. relishes tackling projects with a straightforward and effective approach to show up, do quality work, respect everyone, and repeat as needed. He is passionate about his career in environmental consulting. He has developed and conducted environmental site assessments to identify the exposure risks to nearby receptors at a wide variety of sites—as well as conducted assessment activities at sites with regulatory oversight by federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
As a nature and outdoors enthusiast, he enjoys projects that include environmental remediation activities. These often occur where clients manufacture, store or must dispose of products such as petrochemicals, volatile, and semi-volatile organic compounds, PCBs, herbicides and pesticides. Additionally, he leads a multidisciplinary team performing due diligence services for industry sectors including oil and gas, power, real estate, land development, and manufacturing. These fast-paced projects often support client’s merger and acquisition efforts and focus on ensuring clients have effective strategies to manage potential environmental risks. He has also led multidisciplinary teams performing site assessment and permitting to identify strategic site selection and environmental constraints that pose a risk to the project schedule. These often include the review of cultural resources, waters of the United States, threatened and endangered species, and other potential affected receptors.
Outside the office, T.J. enjoys traveling, and chasing fish, waterfowl, or big game, and cheering on his children at soccer, football, and figure skating.
