Ken is a 20-year specialist in water resources, focusing on flood control systems and how to integrate novel solutions to drainage—at both local and regional levels. A geographic information system (GIS) specialist, he authors drainage master plans, conducts forensic soil analysis and aquifer sustainability studies, and has completed hydrology and hydraulic analyses and breach studies for high hazard dams in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Using his technical skillset, Ken has brought innovative solutions to client challenges by understanding complex hydrology and calling on thorough software fluency. However, being curious has been both a blessing and a curse for Ken. The blessing is that it’s allowed him to solve all sorts of unique problems for our clients; the curse comes when his children think he’s their own personal search engine, but Ken loves teaching too, so it all balances out.
Outside of work, Ken’s a power lifter, a skilled chef, and strives to keep one step ahead of his children’s interests in fiber arts and graphic design. He’s currently modifying his Harley to take it off road.
