Dr. Dima El-Gamal leads the infrastructure master planning and project funding efforts in our Ann Arbor, Michigan, office. Over the last 23 years she’s assisted numerous communities in securing over $128 million in low interest loans and grants. Dima is very familiar with a variety of funding programs, including but not limited to Michigan’s Drinking Water Revolving Fund program.
She was instrumental in supporting municipalities in submitting for and administering grants and loans related to water, sewer, or storm infrastructure improvements, non-motorized pathways and parks, best management practices for stormwater control, sustainable energy, and brownfield redevelopment. She’s also among only a few consultants invited by Michigan’s Department of Environmental Quality to be part of an advisory workgroup on the development of a new grant program, SAW (Stormwater Asset Management and Wastewater).
Dima’s high success rate in securing funding and her excellent client relationships allow her office to sustain a wealth of design and construction work. She’s also been instrumental in managing multiple projects involving master planning, feasibility studies, water and sewer system design, and utilities asset management.
