Kaan is an energy engineer based in Türkiye, working on projects focused on renewable energy, energy efficiency, resource efficiency, and sustainability. With a graduate-level academic background in environmental engineering, economics, and energy law, he brings both technical and policy perspectives to energy, resource, and climate-related challenges.
Since joining Stantec, Kaan has contributed to a range of projects for international financial institutions, including the World Bank Group and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as for public agencies and private sector clients. He also has experience in life cycle assessment, supporting the evaluation and improvement of the environmental performance of projects and investments.
With a particular interest in translating energy, climate, and sustainability goals into practical and measurable solutions, Kaan values the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with colleagues across our global network.
Outside of work, Kaan enjoys playing and watching basketball and spending time with his cat.
