Photo of Liz

Based near Washington, D.C., Liz is a national technical leader in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), overseeing numerous environmental assessments and environmental impact statements. She’s the program director providing environmental and historic preservation compliance oversight to the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration. Typically, she works on socioeconomic impact analysis and coordinates public involvement.

What Liz likes most about her work? She likes that each project is different. One day you can find her at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the next day she’ll be at the Smithsonian Institution Building—the Castle—or in a farm field in rural Maryland. Currently, she’s completed environmental impact statements for a decades-long project with the U.S. General Services Administration and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to consolidate FDA headquarters with facilities at the Federal Research Center at White Oak in Silver Spring.

Outside of work, Liz enjoys crafting and traveling. She also likes to watch her son play baseball at the University of Maryland.
