Water is precious everywhere, but especially so in California where Ray has 35 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of a variety of large, multifaceted water, wastewater, and recycled water projects. Having completed more than 100 projects, he has also planned or designed more than 100 miles (160 kilometres) of pipelines and more than 500 water pump and sewage lift stations, ranging from 0.5 MGD to 100 MGD. Ray also has extensive experience in alternative delivery projects where he has served as program manager, design manager, and general contractor on projects and programs ranging from $10M to $250M.
These days Ray is focused on client and business development. His goal? To grow the water conveyance sector in the Pacific Region and California by expanding his client base, leveraging previous relationships, offering innovative services and technologies, and recruiting proven sales and delivery staff.
Ray believes blending his business and engineering experience gives him an edge in understanding client needs and developing specific and clear solutions to address those needs. Within the office, he’s always ready to identify and apply unique and innovative ideas and to mentor and develop emerging talents to ensure the growth of the industry.
Away from work, Ray enjoys weekend getaways, playing tennis, travel to historical places, and attending sporting events.
