Dr. Yuan Fang is a senior process engineer working with our water group in Plymouth. Her job? Supporting our team with project initiation, planning, designing and implementation, and providing QA/QC for quality work delivery.
Yuan has strong data analysis skills and a flair for creative problem-solving—she’s able to visualize systems based on data screening and analysis, pinpoint the potential issues and concerns, and then provide a holistic solution that combines current knowledge, technologies, controls and operations. Her specialties include physical, chemical and biological process evaluations of wastewater treatment system, and wastewater treatment process modeling. She’s also experienced in combined sewer overflow (CSO) long term control program, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, water supply planning, and water resource management.
Outside of work, Yuan likes playing badminton, running, and hiking. On weekend, you’ll find her family (her husband, 10-year old daughter and 8-year old son) in Longwood Garden, at the library, or hiking trails.
