Mark knows urban and industrial activity has an impact on the land and water, and he’s doing all he can to help clients address past impacts and mitigate future affects. With 13 years’ experience in environmental management and planning in Queensland, New South Wales, and New Zealand, he has a strong technical background in contaminated land, acid sulphate soils, water, wastewater treatment, and disposal. Mark also has significant experience applying these skills to environmental impact assessments, particularly for infrastructure projects.
With a background in both the private and public sectors, he offers industry and developers valuable support obtaining licenses and approvals. He also has experience assessing development applications and Environmental Impact Statements on behalf of civic councils and state governments.
Currently, he leads our Queensland contaminated land business, where he is known by clients for his responsiveness and commitment to delivery. Mark is an effective communicator who prioritizes understanding between all parties in every project.
