Primarily responsible for the planning and design of airport terminals, Alvaro is a designer that stands out from the crowd. As the terminal expansion lead for a new pier at the Vancouver International Airport, he brings a commitment and creativity to his team that can’t be rivaled.
Alvaro is known to put his heart and soul into every project he works on. He was initially brought onto our team to work on the Santiago International Airport expansion, helping our team design Chile’s future gateway to the world—his fluency in Spanish was a real asset. Alvaro loves the mix of creativity and complexity that airport terminal projects bring about, and thrives when challenged to see projects through from concept to reality.
Despite the nine-hour time difference between Vancouver and his hometown, Alvaro does his best to keep up with his favorite soccer team: Real Madrid. When not watching the game, he loves playing it with friends, or going for a long run on the Seawall.
