As the head of our Later Living group, a sector-lead role in the UK, Guy coordinates and grows our work in the field of housing and care for older people across the country. He works with clients to plan, design, and develop retirement housing, housing with care, integrated retirement communities, and care homes.
Guy believes that as we all age and are living longer, the trick is to live well. Getting it right in the later living sector can have a real transformational effect on people’s quality of life. This involves changing conceptions, busting myths, and confronting norms. He uses his skills to lead the creation of dozens of later living developments in locations from rural areas to town centers.
In his work, Guy combines purpose and challenge. He also loves taking on difficult things in his down time—on his bike. He has twice cycled from London to Cannes for charity and conquered four of cycling’s most famous mountain passes: Col du Tourmalet, Col de la Croix de Fer, Hautacam, and Alpe d’Huez. Cycling Ventoux remains on his bucket list. He also loves cooking and eating pizza in the garden with his family.
