Pat’s technical expertise lies in building, calibrating, and applying computer models of sanitary, combined, and storm sewer systems. As the collection systems modeling lead for North America, he oversees the delivery quality of our urban drainage hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) modeling projects.
With deep expertise in the mathematical theory behind H&H models, Pat has developed backend code and tested user functionality for widely used software applications, giving him a uniquely well-rounded perspective on how to deploy these tools effectively for our clients. He also strives to communicate extremely complex engineering principles or findings in a way that is understandable and digestible to non-technical people.
Even in his off hours, Pat stays close to the digital world. He loves to play video games and has almost every console produced, plus an entire bookshelf of vintage cartridges and discs. He also has an excessive collection of silly T-shirts that takes up his entire closet.
